Born and raised in West Cork. With over a decade of professional wedding photography experience, Mark Coombes Photography has gone from strength to strength, I was never blessed with a talent to paint so when I first picked up a camera and started seeing my images ‘come to life’ in the darkroom, It was my EUREKA moment, I was instantly hooked. Suddenly I found a way to document the wonderful landscapes I was born and raised in, my passion for sports and travel and being able to tell a visual story with my camera led me to the present day and this career in Wedding Photography. I am inspired by the couples I meet and telling ‘their unique story’. Each wedding I document is like opening a new book and their story is revealed to me over a period of time, in our pre wedding meetings and by the way couples interact with their family and friends on their wedding day. I love to work in an authentic and relaxed manner on your wedding day, getting the true smiles and laughter and allowing the couple to enjoy and ‘live the day with their guests’ as much as possible. My work has won many International awards and been featured in numerous wedding magazines and other publications.
